Item Description
The Ladies' Bodhi Bermuda Shorts are a relaxed fit, mid-thigh or knee-length short with several color blocking options. Choose a plain short for a classic style, or opt for the wedge-shaped color blocking. The Ladies' Bodhi Bermuda Shorts can be made with or without pockets, and include two options for the waistband: fold-over yoga waistband or standard knit waistband. With a size range spanning from 0-28, these shorts are sure to be a seasonal staple for every wardrobe.
Fabric Requirements
* Based on a 54” wide knit fabric. Standard Knee-Length option with pocket. Additional fabric may be required to match patterns or stripes.
1 1/2 yards total for sizes Courageous- Confident
1 2/3 yards total for sizes Fearless -Talented
1 3/4 yards total for sizes Intelligent- Lovely
The pattern is designed for knit fabrics only. However, the front portion of the pocket can be made with a woven fabric. The full photo tutorial make it easy to sew, even for beginners. Included in the pattern is a "Sew Quick" guide with very basic instructions for experienced seamstresses. The pattern is saved in layers which allows the user to print only the size they need. Due to the color blocking pieces provided in the pattern tiling, utilizing this feature is essential to ensure proper cut lines are being used. Each size has the waistband and pocket binding measurements right on the pattern pieces, which helps to make it easy to store for using time and time again. Additionally, pattern pieces for these are provided on the pattern tiling.
