Ladies Ellie Dolman Cardi PDF Pattern

The Ladies Ellie Dolman Cardigan is a relaxed fit, dolman style cardigan in sizes 00-28. With no closures, it is easy slip on and run out the door or wrap up to snuggle on the couch. Choose long sleeves for a cozy sweater (extra snuggle points if you use French Terry!) or short sleeves for a comfy and stylish outfit accent. There are pockets to keep hands warm or keep your phone handy, or you can skip the pockets for a super quick and simple sew. Whether you need a beautiful but comfortable cover-up to complete an outfit for a formal occasion, or a stack of simple and unique sweaters for your year round wardrobe, the Ellie Dolman Cardi is the perfect pattern to take you from summer into chilly weather and back around to spring!

Fabric Requirements

* Based on a 60” wide directional knit fabric, long sleeves option with pocket. Less fabric required for short sleeves or plain front option. Additional fabric may be required to match patterns or stripes. Cuffs and bands use 1/2-2/3 yard of fabric and this is included in the total fabric requirement measurements. 

1 3/4 yards for sizes Courageous – Powerful

2 yards for sizes Confident - Passionate

2 1/3 yards for sizes Charming - Intelligent

2 2/3 yards for sizes Radiant- Lovely

The pattern is designed for knit fabrics only. The full photo tutorial makes it easy to sew, even for beginners. Included in the pattern is a "Sew Quick" guide with very basic instructions for experienced seamstresses. The pattern is saved in layers which allows the user to print only the size they need.  Each size has the edge band and pocket binding measurements right on the pattern pieces, which helps make it easy to store for using time and time again. Additionally, pattern pieces for these are provided on the pattern tiling.
