Summer Splash Bag PDF Pattern
The Summer Splash Bag is an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags for containing wet clothing or other items. The zippered top is easy to open and will stay closed to prevent leaky accidents. The waterproof lining makes for an easy storage solution of wet clothing or swimsuits when on the go. The snapped strap feature allows you to attach the Summer Splash Bag to a stroller or beach chair for easy keeping or simply use the elastic strap for easy hanging while changing. Never worry about what to do with those wet swimsuits again!
Fabric Requirements
* Based on a 56” wide knit fabric
3/4 yard Main Fabric
3/4 yard Waterproof Lining Fabric (Such as PUL)
3/4 yard Fusible Interfacing Pellon SF101
10" All- Purpose Zipper
12" Fold Over Elastic or 1/4" knit elastic (optional)
Size 20 Plastic Snap (optional)
The pattern is designed for woven or knit fabrics. The full photo tutorial makes it easy to sew. This is a beginner level pattern. Included in the pattern is a "Sew Quick" guide with very basic instructions for experienced seamstresses. The pattern is saved in layers which allows the user to print only the size they need when opened in Adobe Reader. Each size has the neckband, cowl and short sleeve cuff measurements right on the pattern pieces, which helps make it easy to store for using time and time again. Additionally, pattern pieces for these are provided on the pattern tiling.
